Who takes the payment

5CODE scripts are bought through the 5CODE store on Tebex (opens in a new tab). Tebex runs the checkout and takes the payment, and a purchase is made under Tebex's terms and conditions (opens in a new tab).

What Tebex's terms say

In short, and in our own words: a purchase is final and is not refunded, unless consumer law gives the buyer that right.

Buyers in the European Union

Tebex's terms give buyers in the European Union a right to withdraw from a purchase. For digital content they describe it like this: the time to withdraw ends 14 days after the purchase, or when the download first starts, whichever comes first. The right no longer applies once the supply of the digital content has begun, if the buyer agreed to that and acknowledged it beforehand.

5CODE's own refund rule

5CODE gives no refunds beyond Tebex's terms.

If you have a problem with a script you bought, or a question about a refund, ask on the 5CODE Discord server.

Questions about an order

For questions about an order, Tebex's terms tell the buyer to contact Tebex. Tebex's buyer support page (opens in a new tab) helps with items that did not arrive, declined payments and refund requests.

Before you buy

The documentation of every script is public, so you can read how a script works and what it needs before you pay. Each script's page lists its requirements. If you are not sure that a script fits your server, ask on the 5CODE Discord server first.
